The SC Hispanic/Latino Health Coalition walked on May 3, 2008 in the March of Dimes March for Babies! We thank all who participated in our team as an important part of the Coalition. This was a fun event to get to know each other better, get some good exercise, and -most importantly- help babies be born healthy!
We sponsored 12 Latino families from the Columbia area to walk with us
and
had team t-shirts.With the community’s support, the Coalition raised a total of $1005 dollars for the March of Dimes. Members walked over 6 miles to raise money and show support for the March of Dimes.
